aigner Christoph Aigner I've have been a researcher at the COPA group for almost a year now and I am currently working on my PhD thesis. My main research interests are semantic interopability within the domain of electronic health records (standards, terminology, etc.) and veterinary health IT.
RB René Baranyi I am currently researching in the field of serious gaming in healthcare (focusing on rehabilitation and life style applications). Besides writing my PhD in the field of gamification I'm also interested in topics related to telemedicine, electronic health records and mobile applications in healthcare.

bild martin Martin Gobber My current research interests are mainly in the field of Mobile
Computing in Healthcare. More precisely, I focus on applying standards
for exchanging and developing electronic health records (e.g. HL7,
openEHR) to mobile platforms like Android and iOS. My further research
interests include topics like medical image analysis and visualization
as well as augmented reality in medical practice.

  • finding new ways to support psychotherapeutic processes with mobile technology (special focus on self-injury behavior and Borderline)
Reinhard Pitsch Reinhard Pitsch As senior software developer and technical project manager his personal ambition is to continuously improve development processes ensuring the quality of software products.
He completed the bachelor and master programme Medical Informatics at the Technical University of Vienna in 2005. After that he worked in the field of medical informatics developing medical software for several years collaborating with hospitals, universities, and companies in both public and private sector on a national and international level.
Nowadays Reinhard has a broader focus on software development and testing in general but his ambitions related to the field of medical informatics remained the same.
